This Award is Designed For

Individuals who are required to carry out internal verification of competence assessments

as part of a competence management system.

OPITO competence assessor

This Award is Designed For

Individuals who are required to assess against in-house or OPITO standards

It is not suitable for individuals required to assess against National Occupational Standards

SQA L&D11 internal verifier qualification

This Unit is Designed For

Those who will be monitoring assessment processes and decisions within an organisation and helping to maintain and improve the quality of workplace assessment.

It can be acquired by those who will verify work-based National Vocational Qualifications (SVQ or NVQ) or in-company standards

SQA L&D9DI assessor qualification

This Unit is Designed For

Those who assess in the workplace using direct and indirect methods of assessment, including, for example, observation, questioning, work product, professional discussions, simulations, written evidence such as witness statements and candidate statements and RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning)

Individuals assessing against National Occupational Standards and company-specific standards
